CornyKeg is pleased to be able to provide ball lock kegs. These kegs are converted Firestone pin lock Cornelius kegs. The standard pin lock connections are replaced with the new CornyKeg ball lock quick disconnect fitting. These fittings are machined out of 2011 T3 aluminum and are anodized to create a corrosion proof and food grade coating.
Please Note: If you have Pepsi style ball lock kegs the dimensions will be different. These ball locks are converted Coke style kegs. Coke style kegs are shorter and larger in diameter than Pepsi style ball locks. Note the dimensions below.

Your corny keg is shipped in its own box. We ship them UPS and the weight is approximately 12 lbs. The corny kegs are de-pressurized for shipment.
Cleaning Recommendation: Your kegs will come fitted with new ball lock posts. There is no need to clean the posts before use but you must sanitize them. If you do want to clean the posts CornyKeg does not recommend the use of any alkaline based cleaner (PBW…etc). Alkaline based cleaners will attack the anodizing of the posts and can cause pitting. A 5-10 minute soak in warm soapy water and rinse is all you need to do prior to sanitation.
